An end sequence from Drought Watch, a nightly program aired on The Weather Channel in the summer of 1988. This particular episode is an hour-long Sunday evening special that focused on the greenhouse effect. It was hosted by original OCM Dennis Smith.

  • Is positive PDO sunspot activity? Also, that strong La Nina had the storm track well up in Canada.

  • Also A La Nina during high solar year and a Positive PDO which that La Nina only interrupted for that year and obviously the liberal media blames global warming thru our activities.That was the year that NASA's Jim Hansen says hes 99% sure that this was due to global warming.

  • There was a very strong La Nina pattern that year. That is probably why that drought was so bad.
