Environmental thought leaders Stewart Brand and Winona LaDuke debate GM crop. Brand says "a combination of genetic engineering and organic farming really is the future of food." And LaDuke recognizes that their views are not mutually exclusive. She is answering the question: why is there hunger in the first place? And, as she states, he's answering, who should own the world's food supply? She's saying, wake the hell up, people. We can't keep putting band aids on our irresponsibility and lack of accountability.
