What a career-starter! This is the opening track to Narada Michael Walden's debut album Garden of Love Light (1976) after moving on from the Mahavishnu Orchestra. A powerful fusion of jazz, funk and orchestral rock, it set the stage for an illustrious career as soloist (Tonight's the Night, Divine Emotions) and producer (for Sister Sledge, Whitney Houston, Arethat Franklin, Al Jarreau, Jeff Beck, Stacy Lattisaw, Steve Winwood, Diana Ross and others).
this was my cut in High school.

Pretty song... especially when the strings come in and follow the lead guitar. Pretty, pretty, pretty.

@MarvinSheats
thanks for the heads-up, I wondered who was making that Les Paul sing so divinely.

What beauty!! Bought this when it first came out in '76. I played it continuously for approx. 5 months before finally venturing to other music. And now, I continue to play it again: continuously!

Besides ray's inspired lines, I love David Sanscious's cathedral-like B-3 Hammond work. It really adds depth to the tone.
