@mitchdance My uncle met his wife online. See, sometimes there is a major lack of intelligent people in an area, we can use you as evidence of this, which creates a problem finding "the one" for those who believe in such a thing. Other times they aren't even looking for "the one" yet it is still difficult to find anyone who they care about whatsoever. Once again we can use morons such as yourself as evidence of this. My uncle was a Sgt. in the US Army. Not a "geek" my primitive friend.

Well, I'm not gonna pretend I haven't done it, because I have; when I was younger, like in high school. The main reason people do it is because of low risk, low responsibility attached to it. You don't have to show up in person, you don't have to look presentable, when you're chatting you are more confident than when you're speaking to some one in person. There are lots of reasons why some people prefer online dating. But the bottom line is, it's just dumb. You need to do it in person.
