  • I have Insanity but haven't found a way to include it in my training. The plyo is a lil too much for these old paratrooper knees. Congrats with you journey

  • @yopersonaltraina you're never too old but the key word when doing Insanity is modify!! I thought I was able to keep up with the younguns in the videos but I realize I had to go at my own pace. It basically shocked my knees and I ended up not working out for 3 months. I'm back now and doing P90X and if I do Insanity again, it will be with alot of modifications!! Thanks :)

  • Thanks Jaye!! It's been a grueling two months but we got it done!!! I am going to follow suit with y'all and create a hybrid workout (using all the workouts I have) and do that for 60 days and see what happens.

  • Looking great! I tried recording my insanity workout last night...and I only got my legs! HAHAHA! :)

    2 more days! Are you excited? Can't wait to see your results...so motivational.

  • Thanks Sweetie!! You know I'm excited!! The results are nice, I dropped a size or two and I'm now fitting in pants that didn't fit me before I started insanity (couldn't even zip them up) and now they are fitting me with the zip up and fastened!! I'm thinking of doing a hybrid (all BB workouts) for the next 60 days to see what the mix can do!!

  • I think the hybrid is a great idea! Keep us updated - I'm thinking of either mixing P90X or CLX with Insanity - love the cardio, but I'm missing the strength training!

  • Thanks Angie, I think my next plan of attack is P90X another round or a hybrid (creating my own workouts with all the videos I have)!!! Going to talk to Ahmad and ask him his opinion on which videos he thinks should be used as well as his own!!
