@lilhomie1017 That person was wrong..jong and key met each other first 3 years before meeting the other members. they were roomates and new each other since they were in middles school thro the company..they joined SM in 2005.

@LightInGate So to answer your question- Yes. But they were ALL friends before debut. If you're a fan ever since they're debut, you would know that Taemin, Key and Minho hung out a lot with each other during their pre-debut/trainee days. And Jonghyun often acted as Taemin's protector/bodyguard. Onew's been really close to Tae before their debut as well. :)

@lilhomie1017 Jonghyun met Taemin before any other SHINee member. For Taemin, he met both Onew and Jonghyun around the same time- or was it Jjong first? I can't remember. :))
And Minho and Key met each other first before they met Jonghyun. :)
These facts were all confirmed by SHINee themselves through various interviews.
