  • Wow I have no idea what the deal is with my track but I have done it just like what you did here yet mine will not work. Restone torch turns off when the rest is powered and then I flip the switch it stays off. Any suggestions?

  • @RyzeAgainst make sure the input redstone lines aren't intersecting and there are no other lines inputting into that torch

  • nice tutorial!i finally found 1 real tutorial~is it possible to change the lever to a button.because when i make it to button its like on for a few second and it off again automatically

  • @TheEmoSushi you can, however you'd need to set up a delay system so it would stop sending power to the rails once you were past them

  • This must be the best tutorial iv seen so far, not only on the switch but on the basic function of redstone. why not call the video for "beginner red stone tutorial" ?

    Cheers m8 xD

  • @Jokelfjord thank you, i'll add that to the tags! be sure to check out my other MC vids as there's a bunch on there as far as electronics and tracks are concerned

  • Is it possible to replace the switch with a detector rail?

  • @shadowsdie Guess what? I made the video and of course it works properly now and I didn't change anything, maybe the server was having an issue.

  • @shadowsdie Actually I think it is a Minecraft glitch lol, just that one block messes up the redstone torch, I will upload a video in a bit showing you what the deal is.

  • I watch this vid with a look of...

    (o_o) ....wa?

  • Thanks. great help

  • Haha I am acutally good at redstone, just watched the beginning and once you said "the redstone torch needs to hit it from underneath" I understood how rails work. Thanks! It seemed very weird when I powered it from the side, not always updating etc.
