Vinny Raniolo, of the Frank Vignola Quintet, gives an impromptu guitar lesson on chord shapes during a visit to the Mel Bay Publications offices in the fall of 2007.
Mr. Ranioli is sharing some powerful info right there. I share these concepts with my students...
It's incredible... So many people DON'T get taught like this. I have students who come to me and they've NEVER been shown this type of stuff before... Students who have spent time with other guitar teachers... I ask them... "What did they teach you?" You don't want to know some of the answers I've received LOL!!!
Perhaps I should write a book about it someday ....
@BlueMoonGuitar you totally should! title it somthing like 'what your teachers never taught you.' i would buy it

Vinny has quite slender hands but as he says " they get the job done" He's right about that in spades! He's a real nice guy too.

This is really cool.
I work in a doctor's office... I once did a echocardiogram on Vinny. :) Nice to see he's doing well with his music!
