  • i wish "they" would do a demo using a guitar/amp set up that reflects a real world application. anyone who can afford a $3000 PRS and a $1500 Dr. Z is probably not going to use a $50 (new) $20 (ebay) pedal. i think a Silvertone through a Crate solid state combo would be more applicable...

  • he needs an affordable pedal?...hes playing through a dr.z....

  • Man that guy can play. And it's not just shredding. Jude Gold RULES!

  • When did MI turn into PPI Product Promotion Institute? Seems like a lame move on their part.

  • probably not a good test to use a DR. Z amp. Even though gearmanndude uses a similar setup.

You are using wayy too much delay and "f" d wah coz there too much going on here coloring the sound. How about only using the one single pedal in the chain you are demoing and hook it up to a less expensive amp like less than $500.

  • Is this guy Kirk Hammett? I see the wah & similar playing style, but no hair!

  • Can I use a wah wah peddal if I dont have that effect on my amp?

  • Don't forget about this guy's Xotic EP Boost at the front of his pedal chain... it could make ALL THE DIFFERENCE for a couple of these pedals!..... Just sayin'

  • @txguitarslinger oh cool

  • @hyperphoenix11

MI has a book called " Slap & Pop Techniques for Guitar" if you want to check it out
