After the agricultural revolution and industrial revolution the world is now entering a third era (Third Wave). In this era majority of the population makes a living, not by growing or manufacturing things but by processing information. According to Alvin Toffler this type of society requires re-inventing many institutions such as schools and family because the age that they were designed to serve is over.
The episode is based on a conversation with world famous futurist, Alvin Toffler.
