She's exquisite in her technique and her interpretation of giselle is one of the best i've ever seen, she's so sweet in that role, and in the mad scene of giselle... she just breaks your heart!!!

@luv2hmschl Firstly that was 11 months ago, I stopped comparing dancers. Secondly I wasn't talking about her arch, I was talking about how her shoes look ill-fitted because she has such large bunions. Thirdly, I commented about her performance before I even said anything about her feet. I've a right to an opinion, you've a right not to agree and move on.

@bwoodsfinest She has a beautiful arch, but who cares what her feet look like? Can't we judge a dancer by anything more than her feet?

@jankoraven yeah she definitely has peasant feet, although it makes better for pointe work, it doesn't look appealing.

@bwoodsfinest I think it's just the shape of her feet - I think she has a "peasant foot", where the toes are almost all the same length, which results in fitting into a broader platform. You are of course entitled to your opinion, though! :)

beautiful, one of the better done giselles ive seen, but i must say, in a character driven role nothing breaks a character more than ending and bowing to the audience. its a horrible practice, you have bows at the end of the ballet, do it then people. Still bravo

i don't care if no one agrees but she looks like she's struggling during her toe hops...i didn't find them graceful in the least...i realize why i only like tapered pointe shoes...they make the feet look very beautiful..alina's shoes always look ill fitted to me although i know they're not...overall she did pretty good but she didn't catch my eye like when mezentseva does...
