  • can anybody tell me the following three lines after 'let me say there is many a boyfriend...' what i hear doesnt make any sense and its killing me a bit.

  • I think it's:

that knew me when. Well today there"s the guys in the army of loves forgotten men.

I use to play around without any conscience, I just broke hearts left and right.

But now I'm a lady, I've learned to be more polite.....

But to tell you the truth I'm not sure about that second sentence.. I think there is a little poetic justice going on there.. "-)

  • NO one can top Mae West...The rest are imitations.

  • Thank You. I couldn't agree more... "-)

  • Always loved this film...."Goin to Town" she starts out a cowgirl and ends up a Countess. Only in the movies! great lines like the latin goldigger trying to marry her for her money...after she puts him down a peg he says "what do you mean, I am an aristocrat and the backbone of my family"...Mae..."oh yea, well your family oughta see a chiropracter"...........Mae was the greatest!
