You don't need a lot of money to put together an incredible sweet sounding, detailed, timbrally accurate 2-channel (stereo) system with great synergy! Even with tubes! This fantastic little system consists of the following, and can be put together for under a grand:
AV123 X-LS bookshelf speakers
Denon DCM-370 HDCD player
Little Dot MKIII tubed headphone amp & preamplifier
AudioSource Model AMP Two amplifier
Straightwire interconnects
Monster M-series speaker cabling
Preamp driver tubes are Hytron JHY-6AK5 from 1951. AMAZING EF95 tubes!

@dqanguyen Yes, I can! Check out the 'PSB Alpha B1'. I listened to a pair recently, and they sound akin to the AV123's I have. Let me know how you fare.

Hi, I wanna build the exact same system but the AV123 X-LS bookshelf speakers seems to be very hard to get these days as the company has gone bankrupt. Would u be able to recommend a comparable one please?

You should try the GB-5654 Sylvania Gold Brands tubes. They bring out a whole new demension to the MKlll that i didnt know existed. How did you find the Hytron tubes to be changing the sound?

@OriginalMindTrick I've heard great things about the Sylvania Gold Brand tubes, but could not find any online that were priced fairly. The CBS Htytron tubes had gotten great reviews, and the price was right, so I went for it. I like the Hytrons seemingly deeper, wider soundstage and eerily accurate timbre with stringed instruments. Detail seems to be there in spades as well, compared to the more subdued (but still OK) stock tubes.
