Let me help your swing http://yourgolfswinganalysis.com/
This drill gives the feeling of what impact should feel like using the Large Muscles to control the golf swing (not the hands).

  • Large muscles a great thought. I get such a sold contact and strike when I keep arms passive. I got obsessed with trying to actively achieve a good impact with flat left wrist, forward shaft etc but it was causing way too much tension! I just wish I could really get my hands forward at impact. This is a great start though. Great videos.

  • @broonzy2006 You can get you hands forward at impact when you setup already with the shaft in line with the front arm, then use your feet to set the club face behind the ball. You may feel like your stance is slightly open (good thing). The ball will still go dead straight as long as you do not flip the club face closed at impact, or let your arms pass your body rotation before the finish of the swing.

  • Thanks for the reply Ross. I will give that a go, definitely. Will this accentuate a fade a little; unfortunately this is my stock hot. Although the fade does seem less when i keep arms completely passive, there's also such a higher ball flight. I love your other video also about bringin the elbows back in front 'the ross move'? Great videos, really short and informative - and reaching out to the UK!
