Rebuttal to a common theme among Ron Paul "haters". Answer, of course, he's not an isolationist. But, most folks are too damned lazy to get off their arses and research. Well, I have done the research.

  • Here is another fool that thinks we can just keep spending money on wars we can't afford. No wonder we are 13 + trillion in debt. Oh wait it's all Obama fault right???? You people make me sick with your single celled thinking. Your all just trolls that cares about your bottom line and to hell with your fellow man. And we have no market because of trolls and wall street elites. And doing research does not solve our problems and yes most voters are fools thus the second term of GWB

  • @Tohoku87 Your first sentence makes NO SENSE at ALL......RON PAUL is totally against spending money we don't have, and believes in NON-INTERVENTIONISM.

Note, that I am "responding" hence "RE:" to some one else's video.....Hopefully, my video makes more sense once you realize that ... RON PAUL 2012

  • I could live with Ron Paul's foreign polices but his domestic polices are disaster that would put us back in to the 18th century.

  • @saburius The Philosophies of Western Humanity were carved out 3000 years ago in Athens....don't confuse technological progress (invention of transistor, etc.) with development of Human Condition! There is no difference in sentiment between foreign or domestic, it's all the same ... a search for FRAUD-free and UNFORCED Market Place were all Human interaction takes place....the only need for the court or defense is when those concepts are violated. We are all responsible for our own!

  • Ron Paul is not an isolationist, he's a noninterventionist.

  • @miketonon Thank you, that was my point in this video.....this is a response video to someone who called him an "isolationist"... Aloha, UC

  • All one must do is go to wikipedia and type in the word Isolationism. The first paragraph sums it up. It explains how some people confuse it with non-interventionism and protectionism.

The reason why they do this is to slander Ron Paul by confusing stupid people who think it's some kind of mystical word that is evil in some way. Isolationism means to completely cut off any kind of dealings with other countries. Ron Paul is for free trade which blows that myth right out of the water.

  • Ron Paul would abolish free trade agreements. He has said so himself. When those go tarrifs are imposed. This would mean higher prices on imported goods which would spur inflation. This would make US exports more expensive globally thus lowering GDP. That, coupled with his anti-UN, anti-IMF and other partnerships, makes for an isolationist.

  • Fox news does NOT want Paul as president. They've often said he is an "isolationist" and he can't win. I worry about legalizing drugs, but Ron Paul's outstanding views on other issues is worth taking a chance. I figure drug-users will find what drug they want, legal or not. As far as people calling Paul and "isolationist" Anti-immigrant or intelligent? Before you post, check out this YouTube video about poverty/immigration entitled:

Immigration by the Numbers -- Off the Charts

  • @UnderseaCaveman "Trade with all nations, alliance with none." - Thomas Jefferson, a non-interverntionist

We need to look back to the princlibles of the Monroe Doctrine where we told Russia and other European Powers that we aren't a tool or puppet and neither are any other American independent nations and that the United States had territory claims and Russia could not settle on the Pacific Coast. We stated the we did not want to be messed with. Look at us today, in everyone else's biz.

  • isolationist - to neocons means spread military bases all over the world. Kill, kill, and then after sit back and wait for the repercussion.
