where do you get the lights?
-
so how long is this film going to be? If you've been working on it for 3 years, I expect it might go over 6 minutes?
-
when is this coming out again?
-
How did you animate with a ceiling? I'd imagine quite a few bumps, but you've seen to pull it off great.
-
Oh yes, I remember you announcing this for the first time on brickfilms com.
How long have you been working on this ever since? Can't wait for it.
-
Is this new(er) animation? I'm terribly sorry for asking this, but would you have any idea when this film would be released? I'm just going crazy. :P

I don't have a set date. I did in the past, but you know how that goes...
I work on it as much as time allows.

I originally took the ceiling out every time I animated - and that was ridiculous.
I recently took a tip from 'gigerbrick' and now I shoot a single frame of the scene as a background plate and than I animate the scene.
The only time consuming part now is that I rotoscope any objects that are being animated.
This process as a whole, saves my butt if I happen to bump the set or if I have noticable light flicker.

Hi bastetta,
It's been over 3 years now that I've been chipping away at it. Thanks for the comment!

The project is looking great man! I go through the exact same process on all my lego movies. Creating a focused mat shot from the background and cutting it into the final image. Very tedious. Can't wait to see more!

Thanks guys - it's super tedious, but I'm loving the results!
