What's Gato Malo? Fronted by Boston-based Shaun Wolf Wortis on guitar and vocals, Gato Malo is an R&B, soul and roots rock smörgåsbord featuring an ever-changing line-up of truly splendid musicians. When Gato Malo gets a gig, Wolf sends out a call to his vast network of friends with the date and time of the show -- Wolf brings charts to hand out, and whoever shows up that night plays the gig. The rest is all improv.

This June 2006 show was Shaun with Brian O'Neill on drums, Marc Hickox on bass, Joe Kowalski on synths, Paul Ahlstrand on sax, Joe Stewart on trombone and Chris Barrett on trumpet.
