  • i had a ct scan to day and it took like 10 min for 2 but it took an hour and a half for them to do 2 mri's

  • Because as a kid I was a dare devil too.

  • It does not hurt and isn't painful. They scanned my head.

  • I'd like to correct those people saying a CT scan will cause cancer. The truth is it might cause cancer, but a normal X-ray might cause cancer, being sunburnt once might cause cancer, even travelling in a plane exposes you to radiation and might cause cancer. We live on a radioactive planet. Granted, doses are larger with CT, but most people have a scan because they already have a life threatening illness or injury and they'd die without the examination.
