Judy in her prime. Fabulous. Where have all the good times gone?

Thanks again for all your wonderful postings from Bobby (Darin) to Baez!
"Judy Collins/ 5" is my absolute favorite of her many great albums.
This is the best version this song for me as well, even though I love those of PP&M, Baez,. Johnny Cash and of course Mimi n Richard .

Found it!! I've wanted to listen to this song since I was a teenager, humptyflump years ago. This is the voice I remember, these words spoke so deeply to me. Had them written down in an old school notebook but couldn't remember the tune. Thank you You Tube and thanks to you for putting it here.

man, I love Ms. Judy - even when others write good songs she has a way of singing them that makes them great

Judy had the incredible knack of producing covers that seemed for all the world that they must be the original.... because they are always so different from the original that it gives both versions room to breathe. Typical examples are Dylans "Tomorrow is a long Time" and "Dream".

Fabulous. Thank you.

I like this song and the album this came from, (The Fifth Album), is one of her best imo. Her music is very special to me and I think she is an excellent songwriter. She's going to be in Charlottesville next week and I'm going to see her.

I heard this version first and liked it. Now, I prefer the duet between R. and Mimi Farina. Funny how time changes tastes. Still, Ms. Judy has the voice and passion.

Wonderful song and singer. Judy Collins is a mistress of diverse musical styles. Thanks for sharing this!
I love Judy, especially the early Judy. I got her finest albums on vinyl. This song was a big "hit" for insiders back then, but Judy never made the breakthrough in my country i guess.

I agree with you. I guess Joan Baez has the bigger following. I also have her early albums and they are good.
