Video from the University of Massachusetts Boston's 2010 Green Education for the Next Education, an evening benefit to highlight the new Center for Sustainable Enterprise and Regional Competitiveness (SERC) and other initiatives in confronting climate change.

Speakers included: Chancellor J. Keith Motley; UMass Boston alumna Gina McCarthy 76, assistant administrator of the Environmental Protection Agencys Air and Radiation Office; and Professor Emeritus Jack Looney, of Environmental, Earth, and Ocean Sciences, who received the Chancellor's Medal for Distinguished Service.

In addition to benefiting the SERC, proceeds from the event supported the J. Keith Motley Scholarship, which is devoted to providing financial assistance to graduates of UMass Bostons many pre-collegiate programs.
