@HolyCity2012 Well said! They apparently are the same fools who voted for Nader in 2000.

@gov360dotorg Well I guess what I should have said is the majority of supporters that I have talked to. Seems really ignorant to me to be a Paul supporter knowing what he stands for and not bother to register. Well if they don't then they have only themselves to blame. This is the first chance in so long that we have a candidate for the people. Use your vote or lose your freedom.

@gov360dotorg Oh I agree and would love that. Unfortunately for most mainstream Americans the Constitution is as exciting as going to the the Dentist. Just seems that we are still dealing with a society that doesn't know or care what they have until it's gone. Ron Paul has changed that to some degree. Sorry for the pessimism but the country has been apathetic for quite some time. It's not going to change over night and we are running out of time.

@jkinabru While I would like to agree with this, it is just not true. Paul will get 20 million people a month talking on the internet about how they support him, but when it comes time to vote, where are these people? I estimate he has the support of about 20% of the registered republicans (about 10 million people) along with tens of millions of democrats and independents and non-registered people who never vote. I have interviewed hundreds of Paul supporters who are non-voters.

@gov360dotorg Actually the majority of Paul supporters are registered and do vote. It's OWS that has vowed not to vote for either party. I understand their sentiment and frustration but I believe that if that is all they plan to do it's self defeating because that's exactly what the "1%" want. For you to not care and not vote. If they did vote for Ron Paul we would overwhelm the establishment. Oh well, Maybe the final collapse will bring solidarity finally. Who knows..
This country couldn't find unity if their lives depended on it. We have been bread and conditioned to devote every ounce of our energy to finding that one difference that keeps us apart. We will never recognize our common thread. This is why from the time of Pharaohs to I phones we are and will forever remain slaves. We should just accept it and save the theatrics.

@jkinabru Not a bad point, but I like to believe that the Constitution is the unifier. If we all follow it (and do what it says) we would have to be unified, because there is not much room to have differences.

These people only represent themselves, not any larger "movement".
For any forward thinking, progressive to entertain the idea of allowing one of the clowns from the the traveling circus also known as the Republican primary, to be elected to the highest office and appointed the duty of selecting supreme court justices is ridiculous.
Bad to worse is not progressive. THE END

@HolyCity2012 I have to agree with this. While I understand the need to stick to principles, there is a great harm that comes when people feel that they have to have a perfect system and perfect politicians before they will vote.
