So far the fights between Optimus and Megatron in this series, are the best Transformers battles I ever see it in any Movie or Tv series, American or Japanese from all transformers sagas, that AWESOME is TF PRIME, and not Only Optimus or Megs fights, all characters battles are incredible. Can't wait to see what more this team can bring to this amazing cartoon.

@Endgamelikespie Ah, but notice that "The Touch" fades out when Optimus has Megatron at gunpoint, to be replaced by a slightly darker, more awesome track.

Also note that TFP isn't exactly known for upbeat compositions. It'd ruin the mood.

@SliverEmperor Because Optimus totally wasn't trying to kill Megatron in the 1986 movie. Nope. Wasn't about to blast Megatron's face off before Hot Rod stupidly decided to tackle Megatron instead of shooting him. Not at all.

@SliverEmperor I suppose you're right. It probably wouldn't fit in this show. It would've been nice to see in the movies though. Oh, well. It's not that big a deal.

@MrStephenproductions I dunno...the classics-although classic-just seem a little too upbeat for this show. Hard to rock out to Stan Bush when Optimus is actually trying to KILL Megatron for harming Raf.

Of course, you're entitled to your own opinion. We'd never think of pressing the issue-just felt like pointing out that long-time TF fans seem to have an illogically strong love for The Touch.

@SliverEmperor I'd also like to point out that I'm not saying that the whole movie needs 80's music. I'm ok with an orchestral score. Just use one or two of the original songs.

@SliverEmperor You make a good point. I LOVED Steve Jablonsky's orchestral score in the Bay Trilogy. I just thought maybe they could use at least one song from the 86 Movie in a live action Optimus vs Megatron fight. It would be a nice throwback for anyone who grew up on G1 or the 86 Movie. That's just me. But I understand where you're coming from.
