I Never Thought I'd Catch THIS Lovebug.. (A Jobromance) Chapter 68 -part two!-

-part two-

Once I opened the door for Brooke and we were on our way, it was non-stop talking and laughter. She told me about life in various states, and I re-lived tales from the tour bus and days when I was a kid. Finally, we pulled into the parking lot of the local icecream shop.
"Icecream?" She asked me, with a look I couldn't decipher.
"Is that okay? We can go somewhere else?" I asked...
"No! I love icecream! Just be prepared!"
"Is that a challenge?"
"Well..." She broke off as we got a cold blast from the opening of the door. "No, I just want some icecream." She laughed.
"Well, that's a good thing, cause it's what you're getting." I smiled my cheesiest smile, and we were laughing as the lady asked to take our order.
"Sure, I'll have chocolate icecream with peanut butter please." She asked, and I couldn't help but stare, wow she's pretty (AN: hannah montana flashbackk).. she caught me. "What?" Her cheeks flamed red.
"Nothing, you're just .. really beautiful." Her cheeks heightened even more in color and I laughed and asked for my order. We sat down outside and ate our icecream, all the while talking and finding out more about each other. Once we both finished, I asked if she was ready to go back to my house and she said sure. By now it was about 5:30. "You wanna come over, meet the parents and such? Frankie? Elvis?" We laughed.
"Sure." She said as I opened the car door for her. We got to my house, but to our "dismay" my parents weren't home.
"Hm, I don't know where they are.. but, hey. House to ourselves." I said whlie raising my eyebrows up and down, joking, of course.
"Joe Jonas, are you trying to seduce me on our first date?"
"Well, are you seducable?" (AN: guess that mooovvviiiieee, haha)
"No!" She said with dignity. I laughed.
"Well then, I guess we shall just watch a movie. Lady's choice, of course." She chose Juno, classic, typical, first date movie? Sure. Soon there was a crack of thunder though, almost immediately followed by a flash of lightning. I believe Brooke jumped about ten feet. "Woah there," I said, "Scared of thunderstorms?"
"Almost as bad as elevators."
"Well, then.. I guess you'll just have to scoot closer." I said sardonically. But surprisingly, she did. I turned serious after that. I really liked this girl, I knew it. Even though I had only known her for two days, it seemed like two lifetimes. After about an hour more of the movie, Brooke was leaning into me with my arm around her shoulders, rain following heavily on the roof. Throughout the whole movie, neither of us felt the need to talk constantly, but occasionally we would make jokes or laugh at something, together.. just, being with each other. To my dismay, the movie soon ended though, but neither of us tried to move off the couch.
"Brooke..." I said, turning her attention towards me. She shifted on the couch and looked directly at me. "I know we've only known each other for like, two days, but ... I really feel like I know you, and.. if you think this is sudden..." I looked into her eyes, which were growing wider with my every word. I swear I'm sweating, embarassing. All I could hear was the patter of rain.. "...but, will you be my girlfriend?"

The rain is fallin on my window pane
but we are hidin in a safer place
under cover stayin dry and warm
you give me feelings that I adore...
