I love how you have "religious" as a tag. To me, the Brothers have always had the capacity to take me to a place that only can be descibed that way. Don't mean to be sacriligious but they were some incredibly AWARE musicians.

Yea you'll never hear this on the radio. Sign of the end days!!!!

What an ear Duane had! Those altissimo notes are spot on! Incredible musicianship. Like Bird it holds up through time.

@KLOOBA - I think their last gig with Duane was in Marietta, Ohio, in the high school gym of all places. Not sure why I think that. Maybe from the "Skydog" bio of Duane, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

@bthoma1 Duane's last show was 10/17/71 at Owings Mill, MD, about a month after this show at The Warehouse.

this version was recorded after the one on eat a peach.
you can hear Duane putting together the pieces that would eventually be on the "Eat a Peach" album.......a little more spacey sounding here.
Love Charlie Parkers bird sounds.

@brokencasket not to be one of those guys, but this performance was done after They did the recordings for Eat a Peach

@Talesofspace8
Youtube only gives you ten minutes of time to post something. Therefore I had to cut something out, since Mt Jam is usually 30+ minutes. That having been said, since Dickey is still alive and going, this is dedicated to Duane
