@Axel1051 I never said anything about Parker being good for her. For as long as Buffy was living the life she did, there was no way she could have a normal relationship let alone with a normal guy. Riley was a good guy, just not for her. What Buffy needed was someone who wouldn't feel insecure about all her strengths and at the same time take her for everything she is. Spike was able to give all that. Buffy never realized that until the last few episodes.

@Mr1131988 That's bollocks. Riley was arguably the best thing that could've happened to Buffy boyfriend wise. She could never have a perfect relationship with Angel without him going crazy and killing all her friends. If you think Parker was good for her then you cannot grasp the character at all and the less said about Spike the better. Riley was a genuinely nice character with a lot of layers and a really complex psychological make up.

@Nbd1224 screw the animated series. they did do a season 8. joss whedon even wrote it, it's no joke, no lame spin-off.
sarah michelle gellar somehow decided that she was somehow (sorry about redundancy but seriously- HOW do you decide this-?) bored of being buffy and walked out of the show.
and so, they made season 8 a graphic novel. and it's a pretty righteous comic book.
