"Inversion" A Blindfolded Upside Down Escape over Spikes by 'Magic Babe'

On 21 Jun 2009, Singapore's celebrity magic duo, 'Magic Babe' Ning & J C Sum, presented a unqiue live escape stunt entitled "Inversion".

The stunt saw 'Magic Babe' escape from a straight jacket while blindfolded, suspended upside down by her ankles high above the ground over a bed of steel spikes. What made the escape unique was the fact that she did not be use any kind of safety device.

It would have been more impressive if she was using a more difficult straitjacket like a Posey and not some custom-made performance jacket. Otherwise, decent performance.

I was present on that day, watchbing the stunt from the 2nd level, standing next to one of the video cameras. My heart was beating very very fast when Ning was suspended upside down and started moving. The moment Ning tok off the jacket safely, I quickly exclaimed "YES!!!!" and thanked the Lord. And yes, I am so going for the Impossible Record later tonight!! :-)

She is crazy. Hung upside down in a straight jacket. No safety lines and SPIKES to catch her if she falls down. It's awesome how she managed to do it without being so nervous of falling down and hitting the spikes.
