Duruflé est un des plus grands compositeurs que le XX siècle ait connu. Dommage qu'il ne soit pas plus souvent au programme des concerts. Monsieur Philippe Lefebvre en donne une lecture admirable de clarté, malgré la difficulté du Prélude et des transitions. D'autre part, la légèreté se marie à la perfection à la tension sous-jacente dans tout le Prélude. Une merveille d'Orgue, d'Organiste, de compositeur, d'Opus, et de Vidéo. Five Stars.

Having heard Marie-Madeleine Duruflé play this in person (The Riverside Church, NYC, 1989) as well as on CD, I think Philippe Lefebvre comes as close to her playing as anyone possibly can. 5 *'s!
