  • Hi there! I have a ton of scraps and i did not know what to do with them but now I do!! I have two questions to ask... in the 1st video you say to only go into the back loop only but in all of the other rows you go into both. do you only go into BLO in the first row? and my last question is what size hook did you use. It dose not say in the videos . THANK YOU FOR SHARING!!!

  • @imbakensewjoey In the original pattern I designed, You go into the BLO. In the video I go through the top of the stitch, not the normal place you make a stitch but in the knot in the top half of the stitch. I do believe I explain it in the video. I changed it because the BLO still manages to cause the stitches to pull it into a pralellogram shape.

  • @imbakensewjoey PS I think it's an I or a J hook. Use a hook that best suits your yarn.

  • I'm thinking about trying to make this since it appears to be pretty straightforward. One question, though. Do you use a regular hook or an afghan hook for this?

  • @stjoescribe This is regular crochet. No need for an afghan hook.

  • With this pattern could you use only like three or four different colors? Would it still look right? I love the idea of this pattern. I just got done making a making a baby blanket using the Red Heart Camo and and two other colors and was wondering If i could use this pattern to make a blanket with the same colors.

  • @liz200520 You can use as many colors as you like. I've seen it solid, two , three colors, and scrappy with 15 different colors and yarns.
