Fatal Fury 2 (Sega Genesis/MD) - Jubei Play

I'm just having some fun playing with one of my favorite characters from Fatal Fury 2, Jubei Yamada. ^__^

Ah, there's nothing quite like restricting Mai's movement to a single plane, is there? =D

I hear this was quite an improvement over The Genesis FF1. I need to hunt this one down. and Jubei is AWESOME!

Indeed to both.

It may not look or sound as pretty as the SNES and Neo-Geo versions of the game, but the core game mechanics are wildly different in a good way. The control is tight and spot-on, too. To me, this is the best version of Fatal Fury 2/Special.

@fuzzymoochicken. now with unlimited continues (via Fatal Fury Battle Archives 1), it seems rather easy, but i often try to play with less continues than the previous time i play any of the FF games.

@figment1988 Augh, I hated the limited continues thing. That's really frustrating, especially when you're a little kid. =P You're just like, "Hey, this is my game! I should have unlimited continues if I want!"

@fuzzymoochicken it was pretty much like it's Neo-Geo Counterpart (with the music taken from the NG version). one thing is that like the AES version, it does have limited continues.

Oh, I know it wasn't on the Genesis. I was just saying that I'd rather play this than FFS, as bizarre as that sounds.

I didn't realize that FFS was on the Sega CD. Do you know if it was any good?
