  • "First is first. Second is nothing."

"My idea was to build Liverpool into a bastion of invincibility. Napoleon had that idea. He wanted to conquer the bloody world. I wanted Liverpool to be untouchable. My idea was to build Liverpool up and up until eventually everyone would have to submit and give in."

This is two of the most EPIC quotes I've ever heard my life !

THANKS & R.I.P SHANKS & CONTINUE THE WINNING TRADITION KENNY !

  • Bill Shankly was one of the few people who, whenever he was on TV, would actually shut my father up. Father, a united sympathiser, would usually spark up after with a comment of "Where does he get those shirts and ties from?" I still remember him coming home from work and switching the box on saying "Shankly's bloody resigned" with more concern than if the Germans had invaded.

    Bill Shankly. RIP great lad.
