how close does the cooler come to the side intake fan?

id say, a couple inches or so. and the freezer 7 pro is a rather tall cooler. case has tons of room.

if you get a 780i (nvidia) your not gonna be able to run those 4870's (ati) in crossfire bro

lol i know. built a new one after this, with a 790i, 4gb tracer ddr3, a GTX 260 that i oc'd to the same speeds as a GTX 285, and an e8400. + a 1tb hdd and a fatal1ty pro sound card. :P

oh, nvm i see what youre saying. i didnt mean getting 2 4870's and cf'ing them. i was going to get a 4870x2, which is dual 4870's in one card frame, which im pree sure would run on an nvidia mobo.

wow that builds very similar to the one im about to buy.
same case, same cooler, same processor
except im getting the 1066mhz g skill, the ga-ep43, and the hd 4670. how well does this thing run?
explodedmind 3 years ago
well, it runs great, but theres one problem. since i only bought a $50 motherboard, i seem to have compromised performance. the board i have wont let me overclock my cpu past 3.08GHz when the e8400's are pretty much legendary for hitting 4.0GHz no problem. :P
if you want to run your cpu at stock speeds, then its perfect. if you want to overclock, id do what i just did and order a 780i
+ that 1066MHz g skill should rip. haha
