Maybe, maybe not. lol I am up there quite alot, and sometimes I sit at the east end of the platform as well. However, I know this just because I know the nature of the track and the location of crossovers in this area.
Once again, while CSX may not have the greatest long-term saftey record...as of late, they have been throwing quite a bit of money at infastructure as well as locomotives and rolling stock.
The only reason the train had lateral motion when it was under the signal bridges, was because the train was going through the interlocking at CP 431.
thats some serious exessive lateral motion on the engines

east end is nice becuase your farther away from people and noise and stuff and when the 48 pulls in the locomotives stop right there
