******Please pay special attention to the position of your yarn hanging in the back before slipping either stitch. The color of yarn you are going to be bringing to the front needs to go over the color of yarn you are leaving in the back.
For example...my yarn tails are hanging opposite of the way the last two stitches are on the needle. So, I picked up the red yarn tail from the right of the blue yarn tail this will go over the blue one, thus locking the two sides together.
If you do not do it like this, it wont connect the front and back pieces.

I hope this helps! Please click like if you like this video!

  • Great tutorial and a big plus was the country sounds: dog wolfing something down, hens clucking, bugs singing I'm saving this to my knitting playlist.

  • listen, beggars can't be choosers, I'm just grateful there are so many generous teachers like you out there, keep up the (quieter?!!) good work lol!!!

  • @OneSweetShannon Im so glad! Thank you!

  • Thank you for the update! This is what I was not doing correctly. I thought I was carrying the yarn the right way when bringing it over to the front, but apparently not. After testing with a few more rows on my swatch and paying closer attention, it's finally clicked. Love your videos!
