Written back in the days when songwriters aimed straight for your heart, rather than trying to impress listeners with their worldly sophistication. I really love this song, play it all the time.

I liked it a lot the first time I heard it. Probably in 1951....but maybe earlier. And I doubt that I have heard it in the interim. I STILL like it!

Having listened to music such as this here on youtube for quite sometime now. I heartily applaud all those who continue to post these gems here. I haven't heard many of these songs in years and what memories the hearing of them bring back to me. Again, bravo to those who post this music here and bravo to Youtube for allowing it, and for allowing all of us to listen freely and at no cost. This music has class, honesty and a straightforward, heartgrabbing power which no longer exists...Bravo!
