It's the way you use food to not feel the anxious feelings that stress creates. You are using food as a drug. Get clear that YOU are YOU. You simply use food to stop feeling stressful feelings that make you uncomfortable. Step two is to figure out what is triggering your stress eating. Take a look at when you tend to stress eat. Work backwards in your day to determine what triggers you . Step three is to stop when you are feeling those uncomfortable feelings and take several deep belly breaths. This will give you time to relax naturally so you don't need to use food to stop the stressful feelings. Hope these help. Try them and come back and comment on your experience.
