After last year's killer series of the DJsounds show that saw an all star cast of DJs play on the hallowed Ibiza Sonica decks we continue this year with ten weeks of incredible shows.

No stranger to the DJsounds show is Rik Parkinson who kicks off the series on the DJM-900 nexus and CDJ-2000s.

  • Lots of bedroom djs are better then this punk. Miles to many moves he does and mixing miles away of radio set mixing standards. Crap !!

  • track list please???

    DJCob1

  • 0 db how hard can it be?

  • Rik Parkinson is a great dj, he has done much, give him some respect for that..

  • its hard to see anyone wearin tht watch these days a lot.....

  • @TheGemicore some djs like funkagenda only have there trim at -25 decibils and it sounds bumping the speakers are key in djing

  • @LAHFilms i Dont even let it tap to red but i let it tap to Orange sometimes i want it always green , Never give speakers more then they Got , if i gotta turn the volume mOore up i do it in the Pa , amps ...

  • Its kind a funny to see how many who have opinions about riks set, are you all really that good or just jealous?

Regarding the levels, well thats a pioneer standard, i have it on my DJM 800, if i want a good level i have to break the red barrier, Not on the DJM 909 though, that mixer may be old, but it was well thought trough before production.

Regarding the FX, i think less is more, use the fx at the right moment and it will build your set never imagined, to often and it will tire listners

  • @jimmsr I'm all sorts of genre's pretty much, but yeah this is chill. Maybe I'd be feeling it if i was on that tip too.
