How To Make A Glass Orb

A tutorial on how to create a glass orb.
Firstly- select the marque tool, make sure its an ellipse, and then (holding down the shift button) drag a circle. Fill it with any colour, avoid white.

Secondly- follow the video carefully, use my settings if you are not sure, however you can optimize these to make them better.

Insert a new layer here, now drag a second ellipse, tick the transform box at the top of your screen, then put a white to translucent gradient. Drag it into place.

You have now created your glass orb, if you want to continue the tutorial, it will show you how to insert a text layer.

A very effective way to quickly make a glossy 'glass orb', this is the best way that I have been able to come up with and I think it is very attractive and great for logos.
