Unboxing: Behringer Xenyx 1204 audio mixer

I previously own a similar model, Xenyx 802, which only had two mic inputs. It posed quite a bit of a problem during the podcast as my friends gotta share one mic. This purchase rectifies that problem and I'm positive things will sound better as my friends will not need to share a mic from this month's podcast onwards...

All voiceovers done from the upcoming preview of Pixel Junk Monsters will be recorded via this mixer as well...

my usb interface won't work with my pc. should i change the sound hardware or what should i consider doing? i also use reason 5 just to add on.
