The story of Mateo, Lena, and Lena's jealous and abusive former lover, Ernesto Martel is a tale of tragic love dominated by jealousy, treachery, revenge... and ultimately, hope. "Broken Embraces" is an emotionally moving story, the most expressive image of which is the photo of two lovers embracing, torn into a thousand pieces.
