I was wanting to start making Automata papercraft and I was wondering if you know what paper I should use because I originally come from origami and well, you know, it's different :P

@MrRawrasaur Thanks! Well, I use 65 lb weight paper, but basically cause it's what I can get at the store. As long as it's thicker than regular paper, but thinner than a manila envelope, you should be good. :D

There are some cool automata out there too. I've made some that I haven't put online yet, and more that I want to do. the CreativePark Canon site has some fun looking ones with great instructions. cp.c-ij.com/en/index.html

No, no gloss. In fact, it's very matte type of paper. Maybe it's the lighting.
