do you notice something? That is very true about the timidity of Michael and that as the years went by with their problems of acceptance of their own appearance became more and more shy. What happens when you put the mask of the beast? Michael goes super more explosive, their movements are more powerful, and it is because he feel safer inside the mask. It's like people who use dark glasses.

dwayneneedsalife is right he is lip syncing and he is not wearing the mask, a back up dancer was the wolf cause Micheal never sings with his pinky up on the mic. he is getting a break and changing clothes.

@Kelcie4796 actualy he is lipsyncing, and hes not wearing the wolf mask. listen near the end of the song, you hear MJ sing "OW" and the mic is no where near the wolfmans mouth, the transition from this song to billy jean if you have the whole concert is impossibly fast. they end thriller on one part of the stage, instantly MJ is on the far side in the billy jean outfit, the audio quality in the vocal between the 2 songs is a dead give away. the mask alone would change the sound of the vocal.

fact is he was lip syncing but as far as I'm concerned he has earned the right to. There's no doubt that it was his voice and plus he was suffering from laryngitis as I understand it so cut him some slack. If singing was his trade he reserved the right to preserve his voice in order to still be able to use it.

Plus this performance was so amazing I doubt anyone gave a damn
