This is the famous clip of Ted Cruz reading Green Eggs and Ham to his daughters from the Senate Floor. The back story is that during a marathon Obamacare filibuster on September 24-25, 2013, Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas found himself stuck at work at his daughters' bedtime. Since he usually reads to them before bed, he took time out from the filibuster speech to read them a book - Dr. Seuss, Green Eggs And Ham. Joking at first, he explains it's one of his favorite children's books and since today was his choice, this is his selection.

This speech took place during the debate on funding Obamacare. Ted Cruz, and his supporters like Rand Paul, Mike Lee, Mike Enzi, and Marco Rubio were arguing that Obamacare will increase unemployment, raise taxes and take away health insurance from millions of Americans. They felt so strongly that they decided to delay as long as they could. Detractors argued that they would shut down the government by their approach. What do you think? Should Obamacare be stopped and are they heroes for trying, or are they obstructionist for blocking President Obama's agenda?
