Susan was wearing the same jacket when she slapped Karl in 1998 and was wearing it again wehn Karl told he didnnt love her.

Just because she has a posh voice and because of the fact she used to appear on 'Prisoner', a drama which had lesbians locked in Cell Block H, it doesn't mean she's a lesbian. There's no proof to show for it.
The reason for the posh voice is probably because she wasn't born in Australia. She was in fact born in Northern Ireland, which may explain things.
