Antonie Dance Macabre

In the plague Middle Ages Danse macabre was a symbolic reminder of the limitation of the human existence. There is always a part of our life which we can not influence, from which we can not escape and in which we are enclosed like when there is a pandemic. Liberty is therefore always a dark limitating state showing us an absurd border where something is changed. What was connected with complete immobility is suddenly moving, dancing, crossing various barriers and overcoming differences.
