www.jtmp.org and www.op-critical.com present "Freakin Frackin" by Op-Critical, a protest song against "hydraulic fracturing". Hydraulic fracturing, or "Fracking", is using over 500 toxic chemicals to shatter rock to extract more natural gas from wells, driving profit up. It pollutes our groundwater and the air and is killing us. It is putting profit over the planet. It is time we ban this toxic practice that is harming our planet.

Please order and watch the DVD "Gasland", a great documentary about "Fracking". by filmmaker Josh Fox. Get informed about "Fracking", and we urge you to contact your representatives and say, "No Fracking Way!", and join the call for a moratorium and eventual ban of hydraulic fracturing.

  • @RossoCarne It is not young at all you fracking goose. It has been around for a long time poisoning the water in the good ol' US of A. I am guessing you have drunk too much of it. They are trying to get a hold in Australia and we are fighting them off. They have been stopped in France and are under a moratorium in the UK. Other countries are stopping this dangerous practice. Do the research and see for yourself that this is not safe. LOCK THE GATE to oil, gas and coal companies.

  • @tsalkek You must be a fracking oil or gas industry shill mate. Because if you knew anything about shale or coal seam gas extraction then you would know that this industry is one of the most polluting and poorly regulated ones going around. The oil and gas companies along with the government gets their money and the people get poisoned water and land that is unusable due to the gas companies taking over. Get the facts - LOCK THE GATE to oil, gas and coal companies from trying to rape the earth.

  • This video is so off it's not even funny. If you people knew anything about fracking, you would know that all of the equipment, especially the Halliburton equipment was cement equipment, not fracking. I like these liberal attempts to portray everything as negative when they do not know any facts about it. You can go to any companies website and they will give you 95% of their materials, you can't hate a whole industry based on a couple mistakes that the companies fix. In that case Dr.'s must al

  • @sorschaj This industry is young, and frankly the MSC has done a poor job, even in their own words, of getting good words out. At the core, it is a business, and oil and gas companies are wary to work together because power is so balanced. If you want an "official" source, go to UT-Austin for 5 years. If you want a more feasible source, talk to me privately (thats anyone too). I work in the industry, but my first duty is to ethics through Order of the Engineer and through my own personal values.

  • @RossoCarne I can agree with that; generalities shouldn't be made, based on a single source. However, I am having a difficult time finding a reliable source that CAN inform me of the real, positive benefits of Natural gas drilling, aside from its value as a "clean" source of energy (which I am highly skeptical about). What do you know about it, then? What lies are you referring to, and what truth do you have to offer?

  • @sorschaj Gasland does not make you an expert on Natural gas drilling, completion, and production. It does, however, teach you how to turn half-truths into outright lies to drive a point, and get huge contract money in the process.

  • Good visuals to carry this message. Well done. Even Texas Governor Rick Perry is now involved with a cover up to hide that he knew that Texas has radioactive drinking water.

    Congrats!

  • @THEBIUEMUPPET

Please inform me, then, of the benefits derived from lighting my water on fire, aside from entertainment. Have you seen the movie Gasland? Can you show me one scientific, peer-reviewed study that shows the fracking fluid is safe?
