Seriously though, get out more, and try not to role play/stay on the computer too long. Keep that up and in a some years you'll be just like another student I know, Julian Edey. Hes a COMPLETE LOSER. Has no friends, and everyone makes fun of him.
Also, I noticed my side note made it sound like I was opposed to you trying Linux (which isn't true). By all means, I encourage you to try out a Linux distro (I'd suggest Ubuntu's Karmic Koala or a derivative of it first); I merely have doubts that you'd prefer it over Mac OS X.
YouTube prohibits posts containing a string of similar characters of the person you are replying to. E.g. when I tried quoting your estimate of what I was going to say (which was rather accurate), it blocked my reply and treated it as if I were posting a URL.
An Apple Mac is technically a PC in the same way an HP Pavilion or Dell Dimension is a PC. Post-2006, there is no reason to treat Macs as a separate entity.
I responded to the side note in a separate comment due to the character limit.
Regarding your side note: It depends. As much as I support Linux, there won't be many benefits if you have an Intel Mac with Snow Leopard and prefer your existing propriety application suites (i.e. iLife and the rest of the bundled applications). Personally I prefer using many Linux distros to Mac OS X but if you are already a knowledgeable Mac owner, then I'd say you'd be significantly less likely to prefer a Linux distro over Mac OS X.
What quote filters? I agree that a Mac is technically a PC, but PC is used to mean a computer that is running Windows as its primary operating system.

I still consider Linux to be an OS, as with Mac.

...and Linux?
