In america, they don't just sell fully automatics...Why does everything think that in America, you can just walk into a gun shop and buy fully automatics at the age of 18? You go through a firearm saftey course, then you qualify. Most of the places you can buy guns at are for hunting or else for just shooting clay pigeons and what not.

Wait, are you from the U.S.? I noticed you said "can get military drafting at 16" something we don't have in the U.S. Here in the U.S. at least, we can legally purchase a Barrett .50 Cal, or an AK-47 with a 80 round drum mag, etc, at 18. Semiautomatic, detachable magazine, adjustable stock you name it, we can buy it. Except pistols, those wait til you're 21 because there concealable.

fully auto weapons have been banned sincec 1984 u can have them grandfather claused-in but youd have to be pretty old for that

Are you serious? Do you not read? Or are you trolling me i don't know well obviously as i said "HUNTING WEAPONS" would include a shotgun and you're wrong the only rifle you can buy would be a .22 Cal rifle and even if it's a .22 but is an assault rifle you're excluded from buying them because you can re adjust it to any caliber -not all assault rifles can do that but you can't buy them- maybe i'm wrong but i've tried purchasing one myself and 19 and got denied due to my age.

Actually, you can own any long arm (Shotguns, rifles, etc) of any caliber at 18 but you have to be 21 to buy a handgun.

Actually no, you're wrong you can only buy hunting weapons/low caliber weapons at age 18, but yes drinking should be legal at 18 isn't fair you can get military drafting at 16 but can't drink a beer till 21.
