This is just to see if I can tell the difference with an aftermarket system installed. There is slight sound deadening, but rattles can still be heard. The low rumbling inside is from the exhaust.

  • @kcous7 my max does the same thing, the sub on the rear deck rattles like crazy, so i took the carpet off and put alot of fabrics down, stuffed it so the fabrics and the carpet on the dash is really really tight, took care of the rattling! now it sounds realy really good!! HOPE THIS HELPS

  • @JessAlbaDrkAngl yes your new system sounds great too

  • i have a 05 Maxima SL and it has the bose but the rear left speaker is messed up. it rattles, but it dont sound like its busted. ive heard of them coming un seeled.

  • @joe735 i have the same problem with my 2000 GLE i thought it was my speaker, this sounds alot like mine

  • love the car and system

  • take out the rear deck and dynomat everything including the plastic seatbelt inserts. fixed my trunk rattling 100 percent on my 02 max.

  • dude, if your rattling is anything like mine was in my 2000 gle, check inside your trunk. There is a plastic piece that holds these two metal bars close together near the middle that connect on each end of the trunk lid. Get rid of that plastic piece, and also remove the "bose" grill, and make sure all the screws on the mounting plate and the sub itself are tight. Also, while the grill is off, remove all that cloth shit covering the sub. Mine sounds A LOT better after doing all that.

  • i have a question... my mom has a 2000 nissan maxima SE and has the Bose just like your car, but the rear deck sub makes the rear dashboard rattle like crazy, it make the sound of the bass sound like shit.. does your car do the same???

  • a 2005 sorry about that last comment
