  • Disagree with Show as Y2J's partner, but it fits with his Edge backstory. Loved Punk's promo. Echoes of Bret Hart's kayfabe speech on SCSA's popularity. Dreamer/Christian fulfilled both our wishes. The former got a title run, the latter regained the belt. U.S. title match WAS great, but wish Bourne had been there. Mickie, not Maryse, won. Triple threat double ending made no sense nor did a clean Rey victory. Punk absolutely should've stayed champ but no qualms with this as the final bout.

  • well, my dreamer thing wasn't completety fufilled because he got a short title run. Dreamer is one of my favorite ecw stars. thanks for telling me the typo. i must have wrote it wrong on my notes. as for punk, it is rididicouls that he lost the title. How many times did he accually win when he was champ? They couldn't even let him win or go over on jeff in the first time they faced. He was booked as a week champion. week is still higher than what punk was. thanks for the comment.

  • Yeah, I remember you'd wanted Dreamer to continue on as champ. BTW, WWE's revisionist history suggested this was his first title reign when it was his second. His first one took place in the 'old' ECW, prior to Vince getting his hands on the organization. As for Punk, he may yet get another title run. Jeff Hardy's long-term WWE future remains unclear. Watch for a Summer Slam rematch with the potential for another title change. I agree that he looked weak as champ during his reign.
