Escaping the RNC: A Chuckumentary

More at http://www.theuptake.org. Chuck Olsen, a seasoned veteran of political coverage and documenting events, managed to make it through the final day of the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, MN unscathed.

This, however, was not accomplished without some serious maneuvering. From gas canisters to riot police storming parking lots and shouting, "Get out of the ****ing card and run", our man on the streets, Chuck Olsen, had a very busy day. These are the people that he met and the dangers that he encountered on his journey. This is how Chuck and his friends from the Uptake escaped the RNC.

honestly, this was the final day of the RNC and it was a PEACEFUL protest, the police basically got "fed up" with the protesters at about 8pm central time and proceeded to fire tear gas and flashbangs into a crowd they had surrounded. they corraled them onto a bridge and arrested 396 people including press

I didnt say anything like your message implies. I agree with most of what you say however. America could be much greater. But people here in the U.S. critisize so much that its as if ye live under Stalin or Hitler. My point about Cuba and China is simply a way to illustrate that while we have our problems here, there a places that are much worse off. Maybe we should be a little more grateful for the lives and freedoms we still enjoy.
